The monkeys paw,
It does not wait.
It tells the future,
It gives the date.
It’s twisted up,
In old mens fate.
Don’t say to me,
You do not quiver,
When crossing the log,
On your self-made river.
There is a balance,
You must pay the price.
Once is for learning,
Hardship’s for twice,
Then after that,
It’s a roll of the dice.
Don’t say to me,
You do not ache,
When others suffer,
By your mistake.
Do you want to gamble?
Do you think it’s a game?
Have you lost reality?
Have you given fantasy its name?
The truth is the answer.
It will always be the same.
