All Is Not As It Seems To Be……
In the sweetness of unfulfilled dreams
I swim the channels of undiscovered streams
I see the shores of fine grain sand
Others of woods and no mans land.
Finding a foot hold, I stand and walk
Finding a language I begin to talk.
Eat the berries and harvest the grain
Learn of greed to the familiar refrain.
All is not as it seems to be.
Care and freedom seem lost to me.
Will the wheel roll on in time,
If the sweat and toil are not mine?
The dark haired girl begins to dance,
As the old man falls to the hard steel lance.
